CORONA VIRUS - IMPORTANT NOTICE
The safety measures included in the Government’s “Plan B” for dealing with the rise of the Omicron variant have been lifted.
However, Covid 19 is still with us and we must all be aware of the need to respect other people’s space and to behave sensibly.
Wearing face coverings in appropriate situations and continuing to use the hand sanitisers provided can only help the situation and keep us all a little safer.
We ask all visitors to the centre to respect other people’s space and to behave sensibly.
The centre sits at the heart of the Woolston community providing a vibrant and friendly meeting place. We are proud to welcome you to your extended, renovated and fully accessible centre.
Whether you wish to attend one of our groups/activities or you wish to hire the premises for a function we guarantee you a warm friendly welcome.
We look forward to seeing you soon

The Community Centre garden features mature shrubs and an ever changing variety of flowers, giving a colourful display all year round. Congratulations to all of the garden team for the amazing transformation of a derelict space and special thanks to Ray Sturgess* (aka the king of the plants) who spent many hours selecting and providing just the right varieties of plants to suit the seasons.
If you would like to volunteer to help with the upkeep of this garden please email: Joan.firstname.lastname@example.org
Sadly, we must record the news that Ray passed away on 10th August 2022 after a long struggle with illness. His efforts since the establishment of the community garden are the stuff of legend and his presence will be sorely missed.
A plaque is now in place on the garden wall, to mark Ray's dedicated and tireless contribution to this project.
