  Woolston Community Centre
YOUR COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION NEEDS YOU!

The WCA really needs more people to take an interest in keeping the centre up to scratch and in good financial shape for future generations.
There are several ways you can make a difference :-

  • Become a Managing Trustee and join the General Committee of the Association (no personal liability is involved). This committee meets four times a year and monitors and advises on the business of the Association

  • Join the Centre Committee and look after the day to day management and maintenance of the centre, meeting once every month. Are you a good organiser? Then you can help put on and publicise our in-house events, such as the Christmas Dance and the Quiz Night. Suggestions for other events are always welcome

  • If you aren’t a fan of committees, how about contributing a skill e.g. computing, odd jobs, gardening; anything that helps to keep the centre ticking over (and saves us money!)

  • Be a keyholder and help with opening and closing the centre and meeting and greeting hirers when necessary. Covering just one evening a week would be a great help

  • Just become a member of the Association and pay the small subscription – every little helps and it shows that you believe in what we do and support us in our efforts

If you think you might be interested in helping or would like to know more about what we do, you can visit the website (see above) or phone me on 023 8043 2216.

If you just wish to make a booking you can make an application online or phone Ann Lowe on 023 8043 2728.
